I arrived late to meet Yoram Kaufmann in person. But upon discovering his work at the Assisi Institute for the Study of Archetypal Pattern Analysis, I felt right at home. Dr. Kaufmann explains that to recognize the essence of an image, it's important to see it in its context. The objective coordinates of Earth's gravitational field allow us to recognize the shapes of the body, movement, and behavior as images that guide us to find balance, support, freedom of movement, and the ability to respond to life's challenges. Part of my work as a practitioner of Somatic Pattern Recognition (SPR) involves translating the language of the body and psyche into a language that the conscious mind can understand.
