Basic DFA Practitioner Training

The basic DFA training leads to certification as a DFA practitioner and takes place over a period of two to three years.

The basic practitioner trainings in DFA Somatic Pattern Recognition are in the program of the studio for breathing, movement and structural integration continuously. However, several years may go by between one training and the next, because the depth of the work requires a strong commitment to get involved in getting to know one’s own process. Only when a group of people with enough preparation get together, is it possible to begin a practitioner training. The official languages of the basic DFA practitioner training, of its description and the teaching materials are Spanish and English. However, the personal process of native Catalan speakers will be held in Catalan.

Curriculum

The curriculum of the Basic Training in DFA Somatic Pattern Recognition extends over five four-week phases, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. The next training is scheduled from October 2027 through October 2029. Application for training needs to be presented before April 30, 2027.

Fee: €1900.- + VAT per phase.

Dates of the training in course

The training in course is about to reach the certification phase. The DFA practitioners in training offer sessions in their last intermediate phase as well as supervised sessions in class, at a very reduced fee.

March 10- October 1, 2026

Certification phase:

October 2 – 26, 2026
